It combines with the consequences of global warming with a rapid and very strong increase in pollen.<\/p><p>=&gt; remember to go see the <a href=\"https:\/\/permaculture-equine.fr\/en\/pandemie-d-allergies-chez-les-chevaux\/\"><strong>part 1 here &gt;&gt;<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-30618c1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"30618c1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">pollutants, <br>\nwhere do they come from and where do we find them?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d7ec519 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d7ec519\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Pollution begins with the accumulation of various wastes as soon as people settle down and the population increases ... But the presence of very toxic pollutants began to develop in the 19th century with the industrial revolution. This was followed by the agricultural revolution with chemistry and nuclear power in the second half of the 20th century.\u00a0<\/p><p>We find these pollutants in 3 vectors that transport them:<\/p><ul><li>water<\/li><li>food<\/li><li>air<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5306f5a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5306f5a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Pollutants: what are they?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-579a6e7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"579a6e7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>There are many sources of pollutants:<\/p><ul><li>plastics and nylons: buckets, feeders, drinkers, halters, hay nets ...<\/li><li>fabrics: rugs, blankets ...<\/li><li>furniture: in the saddlery, the club house ...<\/li><li>pesticides: in food given to horses, from the neighborhood ...<\/li><li>packaging,<\/li><li>care products,<\/li><li>etc...<\/li><\/ul><p>The interactions between these different sources remain unknown: but we know that everything also depends on the doses and the time of exposure.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-24f94cf elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"24f94cf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What to do ?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-066185c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"066185c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Many factors weaken the immune system which naturally defends the body.<\/p><p>=&gt; great vigilance is required to limit ingestions:<\/p><ul><li>when we water<\/li><li>and feed the horse<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-06b8b51 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"06b8b51\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Horse nutrition and environment<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-17b5c49 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"17b5c49\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">1) water:\u00a0<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7223d35 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7223d35\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>It is through an analysis of the different sources of supply that we can look at the pollutants:<\/p><ul><li>to begin with, tap water from the network: drinkable but sometimes still contaminated. The chlorine content is reduced by simple exposure to open air.<\/li><li>then there is the recovered rainwater: it is poor in minerals and can carry the pollutants present on the roofs<\/li><li>then water from the well, spring, river, pond: each deserves an analysis at different times of the year<ul><li>due to seasonal variations<\/li><li>and agricultural practices in the immediate and upstream sector ...<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>an equine permaculture design provides for water filtration installations using flora for example ...<\/li><li>avoiding plastic pipes and containers reinforces the approach.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a25e9fa elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a25e9fa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">2) food: they can be contaminated directly or indirectly<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3606607 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3606607\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>some GM varieties, F1 hybrids or some foods grown on nutrient poor soils have micronutrient deficits. By carrying out a regular analysis of the hay we can supplement the horse in a targeted and appropriate way,<\/li><li>for pesticides and other heavy metals found in conventionally grown foods and sometimes on contaminated soils, it is necessary:<ul><li>to choose a supplier at least in \u201csustainable agriculture\u201d, and better still \u201corganic\u201d,<\/li><li>or to implement a \"homemade\" hay production by taking care of both the flora but also the soil that will nourish it,\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>wet the hay to remove dust (steam can also be used) limits dust and pollen,<\/li><li>there are also pellets of fodder that can be given wet and that avoid any dust and all the pollutants that go with it: be careful, however, to monitor the horse's dentition and its transit, because these foods are soft and very liquid,<\/li><li>as with water, avoiding plastic containers reinforces the process.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7fc3659 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7fc3659\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">3) air: it conveys what circulates inside the site but also what comes from the neighborhood or even from far away<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d1c8872 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d1c8872\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>the permaculture design makes it possible to identify the air flows entering and circulating on the site: many elements can be installed such as hedges for example in order to filter and direct the winds,<\/li><li>when it is the moment to choose a place, studying the \"large\" environment around the site becomes a primordial element (especially in highly urbanized regions or in agricultural land with large crops) ...<\/li><li>the maintenance of the horse's living space is essential: dust of all kinds as we saw in the first part,<ul><li>are composed of many pollutants,<\/li><li>and are additionally the preferred vehicle by air.<\/li><li>often it is not the dust alone that will be allergenic, but the pollen stuck to this dust ...<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>muddy soils that become powdery in dry weather must therefore be taken into account and managed to limit this dust.<\/li><li>consider using natural products<\/li><li>limit as much as possible the mechanization that uses fossil fuels (take care anyway).\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ab953a0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"ab953a0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-10dcc79 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"10dcc79\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Horse care and lifestyle<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c38380f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c38380f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>=&gt;
